2009 Washington FLL State Championships

The following teams achieved Washington state FLL Championship awards on December 12th, 2009. We congratulate everyone that participated for their outstanding accomplishments and dedication to making a Smart Move!

A special thanks to everyone who brought food for the FIRSTWA-FLL Northwest Harvest Food drive sponsored by Teams 1778 – MTHS “Chill Out” and Team 2522 – LHS “Royal Robotics”.  Over 140 lbs of food was donated. We will spread the collection to all the regionals next year and have set a goal for collecting 700 lbs of food from the entire Washington FIRST family.


2009 Washington FLL Regional Qualifiers

40 teams advanced to the Washington State FLL Championships for their performance at a FLL Regional Qualifier on December 5th. Award recipients from each regional are listed below.

* The Performance Alternate is also called the Wildcard. The recipient attends the Championships if the award is given. They are the first team in the robot performance ranking that did NOT receive another award that sends them to the Championships. This assures that 5 teams from each regional attend the Championships.
