FRC Team Grant Information

If your team needs assistance in finding funding, we have some information here that can potentially help you. We have a few grant opportunities for teams. Please check back here often! These change weekly.

OSPI

Details: OSPI iGrant Inventory



The OSPI grants are only for public schools in the state of Washington. The online form is accessible to teachers and building administrators. Grants are available for up to $7000 for new teams and $3000 for veteran teams. This grant is due on 9/9/2011 



FRC teams should be looking at iGrant package 424 and should plan on getting started early!

BAE Systems

Details:

BAE Systems will be providing grants to assist teams participating in the FIRST Robotics Program for the 2011/2012 season. In 2011, BAE Systems Inc. provided grants to more than 180 FRC teams. Through this grant program, BAE Systems wishes to encourage the recruitment, retention, and advancement of young people through FIRST.

Murdock

NASA

NASA has been awarding rookie grants for many years. The following form is typically where to find information, but is often not available until the end of September. You can check back then.

NASA offers rookie grants to a limited number of teams. These are becoming difficult to get, but rookie teams should still apply in the event Washington State grants become in short supply.

 

Boeing

Preferred Teams: Any team with a Boeing Employee as mentor

The Boeing company has an outstanding grant offer for all FIRST teams. If you have a Boeing Employee as a mentor on your team, you can apply for a grant. There are a limited number grants available across the USA

A high premium is now on Boeing employees who would like to help a team in some capacity. Could be an engineer, machinist, business, or any other employee working in any capacity on your team.

Boeing Employees should look for FIRST @ Boeing in the Boeing Employees WIKI.
