Usernames and passwords for all users are stored in the same password file. This means any registered user can commit to another team's repository or modify their Trac pages and tickets. Therefore, this is also true:

Help and/or advice can be given across teams. When help is needed for a particular problem, members can comment on another team's tickets and suggest changes or solutions.

Users can vandalize other teams' Trac data and/or Svn projects. Do not do this. This will not be tolerated, and users who cause problems with another team's data will be removed from the system. Be gracious professionals, and respect each other's space.

The permissions were set up in this manner to both save time and allow collaboration among teams. If you wish to help another team, communicate with them and/or ask for permission first. This will save us all time and frustration.
