Bringing FIRST to the PNW…

FIRST WASHINGTON was founded in 2002 by FRC Mentors; Kevin Ross, Larry Barrello, Paul Roush, and Eric Stokely while they were sitting around Larry’s Kitchen Table. It was formed to help new and experienced teams by sharing resources and communication within the Washington State community .

Then it evolved, mainly through the efforts of Kevin Ross, to meet the needs of the teams as well as expand to include the FLL and FTC programs as they were created.

Now, it is a full fledged non-profit with a dedicated staff that runs all aspects of the FIRST Programs within the state as well as running the PNW Districts for FRC. This growth has included a dedicated warehouse to hold fields and equipment, as well as offices  and meeting spaces.
